Part III: Hawaii: Oahu

The first island we visited in Hawaii was Oahu, or as most people know it, Honolulu. We stayed with Luke and Allyson...Keith's friends from college who also just got married earlier this summer. They lived in a beautiful house right off the ocean on the north-shore. They are so lucky because the north-shore is known for their HUGE waves and huge surf competitions in the winter. But the time we went there were not many people at the beaches and Luke and Allyson were able to bring us to some secretive, secluded beaches that were nothing but beautiful with sand that wasn't too hard but didn't stick to your feet. We found lots of interesting shells there and watched the sunset almost every night.

Some fun things we did while in Oahu:
-swam and snorkeled with HUGE sea turtles
-camped out/had a bonfire and sandwiches/drinks on the beach...with a huge sea turtle hanging out on shore nearby
-visited Honolulu for 2 days/ 1 night where we went to the beach, shopped around, went to many bars
-ate shaved ice (very popular there)
-took a drive around the north-side of the island





Keith and I carried my wedding dress everywhere! We had 15 flights in our summer travels and that dress was on all of them!
